The Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra is hired to play an event in Israel. Due to budget cuts and organizational mix-ups they are left at the airport without guidance and that, coupled by language and cultural barriers, eventually finds the band in a small town at the edge of the desert. The detour results in discussions and relationships that break down political and cultural barriers.
